“Cleaning for a Reason” is a nonprofit organization that provides free house cleaning for cancer patients. It was founded by American businesswoman Debbie Sardone whose mother is a cancer survivor.
“Friends of Karen” serves families with a child (newborn through age 21) who has been diagnosed with and is actively in treatment for cancer or another life-threatening illness. Imperial Cleaning has participated as a Board Member and sponsored active participants in the annual fundraising and 5k walk, since 2012, raising a total of over $130,000 over the years.
Founded in 1992, Island Harvest Food Bank is a member of Feeding America, the nation’s largest hunger-relief organization. In 2020, Imperial Cleaning helped Island Harvest donate over 10,000 pounds of unperishable goods and 200 turkeys for Thanksgiving. We were fortunate enough to volunteer five times and through all of our efforts, we were able to feed over 1,000 families for the Holiday season.
Recognizing that businesses and organizations should reflect and be responsive to the communities in which they are located, Imperial Cleaning pledges to embrace a philosophy of inclusivity. We support the employment of qualified individuals with disabilities and seek to provide customers and patrons of our business/organization with an environment that meets their needs for accessibility in structure, communication, and interaction with our staff. Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit organization that helps families build and improve places to call home. We believe affordable housing plays a critical role in strong and stable communities. Imperial Cleaning Management, Office Staff, and Family are participants.
Life’s WORC provides an array of services and support that facilitates a full, rich life for people with intellectual disabilities and autism.
YAI supports people of all ages with intellectual and developmental disabilities in achieving the fullest life possible by creating new opportunities for living, loving, working, and learning. YAI is a network of agencies with programs that empower and enhance the lives of thousands of people we support and their families.
