Initial Detailed Cleaning
Before we can even begin to perform routine weekly or bi-weekly maintenance cleaning on a home, there are usually a variety of “first-time” tasks which require extra attention on our first visit. Our first cleaning visit is more like a spring cleaning, or what we call a heavy, deep-cleaning. In fact, it's not uncommon for our teams to spend from four to eight times longer on a first-time cleaning than it takes us on regular, repeat maintenance visits. While the situation in every home is unique and different, the following are some examples of what we mean.
It is not unusual for us to spend as much time cleaning one bathroom on our first visit as it takes to clean the entire home on subsequent visits. For example, if we don't spend the time and effort usually needed to get shower doors, shower-door tracks, shower and bathtub walls, bathtub surfaces, plumbing fixtures and porcelain artifices deep-cleaned, these objects will never look clean no matter how often we come. If built-up mineral rings or hard-water stains are present in the commode, we do our best to bring these surfaces back to "ground zero".
Kitchen cabinets, counter tops and appliances often require extra attention on our first visit. Grease, fingerprints and other dirt seems to make its way through everyone's home and gravitates toward the kitchen (and seems to think that the top of the fridge is an especially good place to hide!). It doesn’t take long for kitchen dust to become impregnated with grease ~ certainly a lot more difficult to clean then a week’s accumulation of ordinary surface dust. Some clients ask us to clean the oven or inside the refrigerator on our first visit, too.
The amount of time and effort required to bring all rooms back to ground zero depends on many factors. Most of our clients hire us because they simply don’t have time to clean with more than a "lick-and-a-promise". Perhaps no one has vacuumed behind or beneath the sofa for months . Bookshelves, baseboards, window sills, windows, chandeliers or other furnishings and fixtures are often neglected for long periods of time and may require extra initial "TLC".
It would be virtually impossible for your team to “skip” our standard first-time cleaning routine and try to carry on maintaining your home in a satisfactorily-clean fashion. There's a big difference between “old dirt” and “new dirt”. If we don’t get rid of the old dirt, no matter how hard we try, simply removing the new dirt isn’t going to make things look sparkling fresh and clean.
This service is designed to maintain the cleanliness of your home. After the 1st visit [Deep Cleaning] we offer either weekly or bi-weekly scheduled appointments. On a regular basis we are able to clean your home in approximately half the time of the initial cleaning. You can also utilize our services on an as needed basis where each appointment is called in individually. Depending on the interval between cleanings we can determine the proper amount of time needed.
This cleaning is designed to prepare a home for the next tenant, meet landlord/tenant reponsibilities in regards to your deposit or after sale of your home. Most of the time the house is empty for us to clean although we can work around furniture, boxes, etc if neccessary. We do a high/low dusting and vacuuming, clean tops of all moldings, baseboard heating, etc. Hard surfaced floors [wood, tile, etc] are vacuumed and mopped and we vacuum all carpeted surfaces. cabinets are cleaned inside & out in kitchen and bathrooms [including medicine cabinets]. in the kitchen we normally clean oven & refrigerator inside & out as well.
This type of cleaning is for clients moving IN to a new home. Usually a move-in cleaning is more detailed & intricate than a move-out cleaning. When someone is moving in to a "new" home we want to make it as easy as possible for a smooth move. Although we can't turn "old" into "new" a thorough cleaning allows our clients to move their furniture and belongings in and begin to make this their "home".
In this type of cleaning we "attack" dust everywhere it has settled after construction. We wipe down all moldings, windowsills, heaters, etc. If cabinets are empty in the kitchen & bathrooms they are cleaned inside & out including medicine cabinets. I f closets are empty we're able to clean the floors and wipe down all of the shelves also. Now that your construction is finally finished we want to make it easy for you to enjoy your "new" home.
Our window service can range from simply cleaning the insides of your windows up to "full" service. In full service we clean windows inside & out but we don't stop there. We also clean the frames [both sides] and the tracks at the bottom. Most clients have full service twice a year [start of spring and middle of autumn]. Call or email us for an estimate.

Because we’re one of the few cleaning services that work by timed appointments it’s imperative to have enough notice to arrange our schedules properly. Because your appointment occupies a specific time slot we need at least 24 hours notice [backwards from appt time] to cancel or reschedule your cleaning. We always call the day before with a “courtesy” reminder call but that isn’t outside of the 24 hour period. We will do our best to fill your time slot but if we aren’t able to we must charge the full amount of your appointment. Please understand the purpose of the policy – to keep the schedules concise and more importantly – keep costs down.
Payment is due at time of service. We accept cash, Check or credit card [Visa, MC or Amex] as payment. We need a credit card on account but won’t charge anything to it unless a payment is missed.
All jobs are estimated with information given us by you and are based on “average” conditions. Our pricing is based on a team of 3 people. We have a 1 hour minimum and then work by ½ hour increments. Because we’re a scheduled service we must charge for any additional time over the 1 hour minimum.
If you are not completely satisfied with part of your service just call us within 24 hours and we’ll come back to correct it. Feedback [good and bad] is very important to us as it allows us to fine tune our services and ensure your satisfaction. Our crews are human…they will make mistakes/fall into bad habits but if you let us know we promise to rectify them.
Any damages must be reported to us immediately. If we have an accident the crew will make you aware of it and they will call the office so we can follow up on it. If you notice something after we leave please call the office right away so we can assess the situation properly. We can’t assume responsibility if damage is caused by products that you supply to the crew.
A large part of our business has been built on recommendations from our loyal clients. Refer someone to us [friend, family member, etc] for scheduled service and we’ll give you a $10 credit for each referral.

We use microfiber cloths for the majority of tasks we perform in your home. The benefits are numerous including thoroughly removing dust, allergens, and bacteria. In keeping with our "green" policy we DON'T use disposable towels - all of our supplies are washed daily.
We come to you with 2 vacuums, an upright vacuum with a beater bar for large carpeted areas as well as a canister vacuum for edges, corners, upholstery, etc. They are both commercial grade and MOST IMPORTANTLY "Certified" HEPA filtered. Your family will breathe better after we've finished.
HEPA Vacuum Cleaners Benefits
A true HEPA@ is the best known filter for removing at least 99.97% of particulates such as dust, animal dander, smoke, mold and other allergens that are 0.3 microns or larger, from the air and thus improving air quality.
You might not be aware of it, but your rugs and carpeting are a gathering ground for all kinds of airborne pollutants. including bacteria and dust mites that settle into the fibers.
