General FAQs

How can I schedule services?

We are one call or email away! You can request an estimate for commercial cleaning or residential cleaning services here or call us at 1-877-WE-CLEAN (932-5326).

Can I get an estimate over the phone?

Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee an accurate estimate over the phone. However, we are happy to schedule a free estimate at your convenience. Please call us at 1-877-WE-CLEAN (932-5326). You can also fill out our simple online request form here.

Do I have to sign a long-term contract?

No. We offer flexible one-time services, periodic cleanings, and/or regular, ongoing maintenance services. The choice is yours!

Do you have a cancellation policy?

We strive to maintain long-term relationships, but we understand there may be certain circumstances where that is not possible. In that case, a customer may elect to cancel their contract with 30 days’ written notice for any cause and without penalty.

If there is a problem, who can I call?

Our client locations are under close supervision by an assigned Regional Manager, District Manager and are supported by our internal Customer Care Team.

Does someone need to be at the location when we clean?

No. We can clean before or after business hours, or any time you prefer. Our cleaning services and schedules are tailored to meet your specific needs.

How do I know the cleaning crew is spending the time I have contracted them for?

Our fully integrated Employee/Caller Location Verification System allows us to monitor our staff and hold everyone accountable. The automated program enables us to:

  • See and receive alerts when our employees enter and exit the designated location.
  • Keep track of every minute our staff members are spending at each location.
  • Be proactive in making sure the appropriate number of employees is set to every location.
  • Know when an employee doesn’t call in for work within 15 minutes of the expected start time.

How can we identify Imperial Cleaning professional staff when they are in our facility?

We fully understand the importance of knowing who’s who in your building. Every one of our employees is required to wear a uniform and carry identification.

All cleaners have been thoroughly trained in our state-of-the-art training facility on the latest house cleaning techniques. Are your services guaranteed?

We are not satisfied until you’re happy so we offer a 100 percent satisfaction guarantee. If something was missed, please notify us within 24 hours and we will send the team back at our expense to correct the issue. Our dedication to customer service and our desire to please ensures consistent, high-quality cleaning.

Do you provide references?

Yes. All you need to do is ask, and we’ll supply one or more of our clients in your Long Island residential area who can confirm our commitment to quality.

Can I trust your cleaning team?

If we would not trust someone to clean our own home, we will not send them to clean yours. We only send uniformed, trustworthy, and dependable employees to your door.

Is Imperial Cleaning licensed?

New York State does not license cleaning companies. However, we are bonded, insured, and carry workers’ compensation insurance.

Are your employees bonded and insured?

Imperial Cleaning employees are bonded for your protection. This type of insurance protects and compensates you if one of our staff members is guilty of theft. We carry liability insurance that protects you and covers damages to your home that are caused by our employees.

How do you determine your rates?

We periodically review local industry rates to ensure competitive pricing. We guarantee you will receive the highest value from our cleaning services.

Our fees are based on the actual time it takes to clean your home in half-hour increments with a one-hour minimum. Our cleaning crews consist of three people per hour.

We have two primary ways of billing: by the job and by the hour. Imperial Cleaning’s residential cleaning estimates are based on square footage, the number of bedrooms and bathrooms, occupants, pets, etc.

Our rates, our guarantee, and our dedication to you are always the same, whether you book us for a one-time cleaning or sign-up for recurring services.

Do you offer cleaning specials, discounts or coupons?

Yes, we do. Contact us so we can send you different offers throughout the year.

Do you bring cleaning supplies and equipment?

Yes, we arrive with all cleaning supplies and equipment necessary to make your home sparkle. We even bring our own freshly laundered micro-fiber and soft cotton towels. You will be happy to know that almost all of our products are eco-friendly and either unscented or low-scented. If you would like us to use your own cleaning equipment or any special cleaning supplies, just let us know. We would be happy to do so.

Will you send the same team each time?

Yes, on a scheduled basis (weekly or bi-weekly) you will have a set crew perform the cleaning. This will give you the chance to become comfortable and acquainted with your team.

Do I need to be home when you clean?

No. In fact, many clients prefer to give us a key so we can clean while they are away. All customer keys are given a code designation and secured when not in use. If you wish to hide a key on your premises, call the office with the location so we can notify the team prior to their arrival.
